Please join us in welcoming John Miller as our new Associate Principal for Activities at Appleton West, ATECH, and Renaissance School for the Arts. Mr. Miller will be replacing Jim McClowry, who we wish well in his new district level role in the school district of Janesville.
John Miller has been involved with teaching, coaching, and Athletic Administration since 2001. Miller completed his undergraduate degree at UW-Oshkosh and his master’s degree in Administration from Ohio University.
Most recently, Miller served as the district Activities Director for Merrill Area Public Schools, where he helped grow student participation in extra-curricular events to over 85% of the student body.
John and his wife Jill have three children, and the Miller’s are looking forward to living in Appleton and attending West side schools.
John will bring incredible energy and passion to our Activities Director position and will be working with our schools and programs pre-K 12 to help our future Terrors make a smooth transition to one day becoming successful high school students.
Mr. Miller will begin on July 1, 2022. We hope to schedule an informal social in early August for community members to meet Mr. Miller. Please check our social media sites for more information about this opportunity to be shared sometime after July 15th.
