ACT Prep

Once again, Appleton West is offering a prep course for the ACT! The class will begin with a practice ACT exam, followed by study sessions in the days after. Sign up early! Advanced registration is required.

Class dates:
Day 1: Sunday, January 26, 2020 12:00-4:30 practice test and general information – all students attend .

Choose which sessions you want to attend. The sessions on Monday and Tuesday are the same. You only need to attend one reading, one English, one math and one science. Choose according to your schedule. 

Day 2: Monday, January 27, 2020
Day 3: Tuesday, January 28, 2020


On Sunday, please arrive in the West LGI (Room 206) 10 minutes early for the practice test and bring several #2 pencils and a calculator. Please enter the building through the 21 doors. One of the 21 doors will be unlocked by 11:45am that Sunday. Cost of the course for AASD students: $45 (Scholarships available to Appleton West students in need: please see Ms. Bunge in Guidance)

Please note: For an additional $20, we are also offering services to have a practice essay graded with 15 minutes of feedback time with an English teacher. $20.00 due with registration payment On Sunday, you will write the essay and hand in (so that a teacher has time to read before you meet) and then sign up for a time slot to meet with the English teacher.

Registration and payment due in West Guidance Office by: Tuesday, January 21, 2020 - It isn’t allowed at the real test, but feel free to bring food/drink to any of the sessions! - If you have any questions about the class, please email: sturtevanttrac@aasd.k12.wi.us - If you are planning on taking the ACT test on a Saturday (in addition to the ACT given during the school day on February 20), you would register for the test at www.actstudent.org
