WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING/WEAR?
Some of our day will involve training in the weight room and some fun field games.  Bring gym shoes and dress to sweat. A bonus shirt to change into later may be a good thing for all of us.  We will provide any other items you may need.

WHAT IF I HAVE OTHER AWHS SPORT COMMITMENTS THAT DAY?
All coaches are committed to GRIT Training and realize this will be your priority that day.  Volleyball has a scheduled game in Ashwaubenon, but we expect those girls to be here for GRIT Training as long as they can.

WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE IT THAT DAY OR BE THERE THE ENTIRE TIME?
We hope you can make it.  You will miss quite a bit of our initial training if you are not present.  The plan is to continue monthly mini-GRIT training sessions during the school year.

WHAT IS THE DESIRED OUTCOME OF GRIT TRAINING?
Imagine if more of our student-athletes intentionally ate a little better, slept a little better, and worked out a bit harder and smarter in the offseason.  What if our female student-athletes took ownership of the fitness room and truly felt like it was theirs? What if we built better daily habits that led to greater mental toughness, self-confidence and accountability to one another?  What if every female student-athlete came into her sport season “ready” to participate at a high level and make a difference to the team because she has moved closer to achieving her potential?  What if we could reduce injuries?  What if more of our girls’ habits matched their expectations, especially when legitimate pursuits of FVA, Regional, Sectional and State Championships are very obtainable?  What if we had an intentional plan that gave us the best chance to be better than before in all we do?
